The SPF bulletin (BSPF)


The Bulletin de la Société Préhistorique Française (BSPF) has been published without interruption from 1904 to the present day.
There are four 200 page numbers each year. Each number consists of two parts.

       

The first part includes 7 or 8 original peer-reviewed articles. The scope is all aspects of Prehistory, from the Palaeolithic to the Iron Age.

   

The Bulletin now accepts articles presenting overviews on prehistoric subjects in English, Spanish, Italian or German. These articles will have substantial abstracts in French.

 
 

The proceedings of SPF meetings can be published in the Bulletin, if the length is appropriate.

   

The second part includes :

 

1. An occasional editorial or foreward ;

 

2. A debates section : remarks and critiques on articles published in the Bulletin

 

3. Short articles on important discoveries ;

 

4. Reviews of books, recently defended doctoral dissertations, conferences, exhibitions etc. ;

 

5. An agenda of conferences, courses, exhibitions etc. ;

 

6. Announcements on recent publications, websites ;

 

7. Society news
