Recent TAG conferences have had a tight and focused theme.

This year, there is no set theme. TAG Deva invites and encourages a range of theoretical topics, ideas, and debates, accepting the breadth and diversity of current archaeological theory. However, TAG Deva still aims to encapsulate the distinctive prehistory and history of Chester and its region. So sessions on subjects relating to frontiers in terms of time and space, land and sea, will be especially welcome in the context of Chester as an historic border city between England and Wales.
