The School of Archaeology and Anthropology in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences is seeking to make a two (2) year fixed term appointment in biological anthropologist specialising in bioarchaeology to contribute to its research and teaching program, commencing in October 2020, ending on 30/9/2022. We seek to appoint a lecturer with an active commitment to research, who is able to translate that research interest into lively and engaging courses taught at the undergraduate level and above, and to supervise postgraduate research students. That person will be able to demonstrate energy and expertise in teaching, research and publication, at an early-career level. The appointee will also be required to contribute to the Honours program, supervise graduate students, and undertake a modest, proportionate role in School administration.
