"We have funding for a post-doctoral researcher for 2 years to investigate variation in prehistoric hunter–gatherer behavior based on continuous record of geochemical signatures (Carbon and Nitrogen stable isotope ratios, Strontium isotope ratios) provided by micro-sampling of human teeth and bones. Micro-sampling is an emerging and exciting field of geochemical research on human archaeological skeletal remains. More specifically, the focus of this position is on examination of the archaeological materials from middle Holocene (~8000–3000 BP) hunter–gatherer groups from the Baikal region in Siberia as part of the large multidisciplinary and international research project directed by Professor Andrzej Weber"
