Your area of responsibility:
-  independent planning and execution of research projects and excavations in Pleistocene Archaeology
-  applications for third-party funds
-  publications in peer-reviewed journals
-  active participation in international conferences
-  contribute to outreach activities of the institute (


Your profile:
- You have a doctoral degree in Palaeolithic/Early Holocene Archaeology, preferably have a focus on the Lower and/or Middle Palaeolithic, a track record on innovative approaches to the field and a strong record in publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- The ideal candidate has experience with third-party research projects and collaboration in international excavations. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and coordination skills are needed. Experience in teaching and knowledge of German would be desirable.
