It belongs to a project called CONFMAP (Consolidating the Future Through Mastering the Past) funded by the French Governement.

 

The main objective of this project is to improve the access of marginalized populations (Women and Turkana specially) to higher education and palaeosciences, while increasing outreach for Kenya’s prehistoric archaeological heritage.
