CRC 806 - Our Way to Europe: Culture-Environment Interaction and Human Mobility in the Late Quaternary

The CRC 806 deals with population dynamics and dispersal processes of modern man. Pending grants, it will be set to a 2nd phase by the German Research Foundation (DFG) to continue work
on July 1st 2013 at the Universities of Aachen, Bonn and Cologne. Project C1 “Continuity or Discontinuity? Patterns of Land Use and Climatic Changes in the Late Pleistocene of the Iberian Peninsula” and project C2 “Continuity or Discontinuity? Upper Pleistocene to Middle Holocene Contacts between North Africa and Iberia and their palaeoenvironmental context” are parts of a multidisciplinary working environment in Geography, Prehistoric Archaeology and Geology.
