This international workshop wants to explore modes and strategies of using coastal landscapes in the Mesolithic, aiming at understanding more thoroughly how Mesolithic hunters and gatherers interacted with, used and depended on the coastal areas.
Researchers from several countries will gather to discuss perspectives on human-coast-relations in the Mesolithic in the Baltic Sea region, Northwestern and Western Europe. The workshop is open for researchers both from Norway and abroad.
